Job Description
Permanent, Part-Time or Full-Time & Hybrid*
*Minimum on-campus presence of three days per week.
As a Lecturer – Clinical Nutrition, you’ll be at the centre of delivering high-quality teaching while also contributing to the ongoing development of subject content and curriculum. Working closely with academic colleagues, you’ll support engaging, student-centred learning experiences and help ensure subjects are contemporary, consistent, and aligned with industry standards. This role is well suited to a lecturer looking to take a more active role in shaping curriculum and enhancing the overall student learning experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead subject coordination and contribute to curriculum development, ensuring content, materials, and assessments are contemporary, consistent, and aligned with industry standards
- Review and enhance subjects through continuous improvement processes, using student feedback, performance data, and external benchmarking
- Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across lectures, tutorials, clinical sessions, and online formats, drawing on clinical expertise
- Support student learning through timely feedback, academic guidance, and as the first point of contact for subject-related queries
- Contribute to assessment processes, academic quality initiatives, and broader scholarly and collaborative activities
Qualifications
- A Bachelor degree AND a post-graduate qualification in a relevant field to that in which will be taught (for Higher Education courses)
- Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Higher Education is highly desirable
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in tertiary teaching, delivering subjects across diverse student cohorts and multiple delivery modes
- Relevant industry experience in clinical nutrition (or aligned discipline), with the ability to integrate practice into teaching
- Experience developing and reviewing curriculum and assessment at Bachelor level in line with regulatory and professional standards
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships and uphold high professional and ethical standards
