Job Description
The Annual Giving team works to increase unrestricted and society giving, total donor count, and the percentage of undergraduate alumni who make an annual gift to the University of Notre Dame. Our Giving Society members play a critical role in supporting the University’s mission, and providing them with an exceptional experience is at the heart of our outreach.
We are seeking hourly Campaigns, Donor Experience, and Events support to provide customer service, administrative assistance, and event support across our Giving Society and Campaigns and Initiatives teams. This role is typically about 15 hours/week, but may require additional hours to meet operational needs, including evenings and weekends. Typical needs include Notre Dame Football home weekends, Rockne Bash, and Notre Dame Day, our annual day of giving.
This position reports to the Associate Director of Giving Society Events and Stewardship and will collaborate closely with the Giving Society and Campaigns and Initiatives teams.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Provide frontline administrative support via phone, email, texting, instant chat, and in-person communication. Including but not limited to event registration, processing gifts and other concierge services.
Support the Associate Director of Events and Stewardship with event preparation and on-site logistics over Notre Dame Football home games, including evenings and weekends.
Learn and understand our key solicitation campaigns (audience, messaging, timelines, etc.) and be the point of contact for donors during these campaigns.
Support student-focused events and collaborate with our student call center on projects related to donor stewardship and engagement.
Ability to quickly learn new systems, including Salesforce Ascend.
Maintain accurate records and databases.
Serve as a positive and professional representative of the University.
Support special projects or other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster a positive, collaborative culture
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Calendar, Docs, Gemini, Sheets, Slides)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with event planning and coordination is a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree
- Salesforce Ascend experience
Additional Information
Salary: Up to $19/hr, commensurate with experience
