Job Description

Help Open the Door to a Notre Dame Education

At the University of Notre Dame, we believe exceptional students should have the opportunity to pursue a Notre Dame education regardless of their financial circumstances. Through Pathways to Notre Dame, the University's signature undergraduate financial aid initiative, we are making a historic commitment to affordability, accessibility, and student success.

As the Senior Associate Director of Scholarship Administration, you will play a vital role in turning that commitment into reality. By strategically managing the University's undergraduate scholarship portfolio, you'll help connect talented students with the financial resources that make saying "yes" to Notre Dame possible.

This is an opportunity to combine strategic thinking, data-informed decision-making, and collaborative leadership to maximize the impact of institutional, endowed, merit, and need-based scholarships. Working across Enrollment, University Relations, academic colleges, and campus partners, you'll ensure scholarship resources are thoughtfully aligned with University priorities, donor intent, and the evolving needs of our students.

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Notre Dame's comprehensive undergraduate scholarship portfolio.

  • Partner with colleagues across Enrollment, University Relations, and the academic colleges to optimize the distribution of institutional and donor-funded scholarships.

  • Leverage data and analytics to strengthen scholarship strategies that support student recruitment, enrollment, retention, and long-term success.

  • Ensure scholarship funds are administered in accordance with donor intent, University priorities, and institutional policies.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen stewardship of scholarship resources.

  • Build strong collaborative relationships across campus, serving as a trusted partner in advancing the University's enrollment and financial aid goals.

Why This Role Matters

Every scholarship represents an opportunity to change a student's future. In this role, you'll help ensure that financial aid resources are strategically invested where they have the greatest impact - expanding access, supporting student achievement, and advancing Notre Dame's mission to educate leaders who will be a force for good in the world.

If you're energized by strategy, collaboration, data-driven decision-making, curiosity, and the opportunity to make higher education more accessible, we invite you to join us in shaping the future of Pathways to Notre Dame.
