Job Description
We are looking for a HUB Registrar to join our team remotely. Must have previous registrar experience!
Provide leadership to plan, organize and manage all of the activities related to the Records and Registration Department, including serving as the official authorized keeper of the college's student records.
- Hire, supervise and evaluate the Records and Registration staff
- Responsible for collecting, recording, maintaining and reporting of student records within FERPA guidelines, e.g., grades, registration data, transcripts, mid-term verification, FSA audits and other associated audits
- Provide leadership and develop appropriate recommendations for the implementation of related technology application in support of enhanced services offered through Registration and Records
- Develop and administer the departmental budget
- Problem solve the research, analysis and resolution of student disputes as they relate to records and registration
- Collaborate with administrators, CD’s, faculty, IT and counselors to facilitate and improve services to students, including catalog and registration/records policy questions
- Serve as ex-officio member of Curriculum Committee
- Communicate important and necessary information by written and or verbal means to and from students, faculty and other Unitek staff as assigned
- Create and maintain program terms and calendars in Campus Vue
- Process and review new student enrollment agreements
- Ensure new student enrollments have met admissions requirements
- Perform other administrative duties as necessary related to the Registrar Department
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in educational administration or in related field
- College degree preferred
- A positive attitude and ability to plan and adapt to change
- Ability to collaborate effectively with college departments and cross-functional teams
- Competence in basic Windows operation system commands, practices, and procedures
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, preferably, experience with contact databases, i.e., MSCRM preferred
- Ability to type at least 55 WPM
- Effective written and oral communication skills with individuals of diverse socio-economic and multi-cultural backgrounds
- Ability to work independently, without constant supervision
- Must possess superb people and presentation skills
- Must have the ability to adapt quickly, be an effective team player, and have excellent multi-tasking skills
- Excellent attention to detail
