Job Description

The Human Resources Generalist will provide general services to the Human Resources department by assisting with onboarding new hires, maintaining, and organizing employee files, and making sure all employee data is in HRIS system correctly and on time.  The position will work closely with HR team members to execute and deliver on all HR projects, including transfers, promotions, pay adjustment, and providing excellent service to employees by assisting them with any questions or concerns they may have and making sure all HR policies and procedures are adhered to.  

The position’s key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with New Hire Orientation, including reviewing all new hire documents, ensuring accuracy, process I-9s and confirming all employee files are up to date and compliant with company policy. 
  • Work with HRIS team with entering data into HRIS system as needed and develop reports as needed.   
  • Assist with all internal changes, including promotions, job titles, exemption status, etc and make changes as needed on time.
  • Assist employees with Verification of employment.
  • Work with team members to monitor and audit employee files on a consistent basis. 
  • Support employees and managers when needed by providing information and assistance concerning employment, policies and procedures on time and meet the HR ticketing SLA goals.  
  • Oversee the New Employee Surveys and communication, data analysis report creation.
  • Communicate with various departments and campuses as needed.
  • Provide employee reports and analysis as needed.
  • Support the HR department in implementing programs to help
    improve the employee experience.
  • Assist field HR Generalists with HR needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the Human Resources Operations Department.

Pay Starting at $26/hr+
Working hours of 8:30am-5:30pm PST

Qualifications

  • Associate degree, Bachelor’s preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience working in HR function.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, DocuSign, HR Ticketing System, and other technical programs.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of HR best practices and regulations.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Strong customer service aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to be an example of a Change Agent
  • Good Knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems.
  • Ability to solve problems and meet deadlines as needed for the department.
