We are looking for a Academic Leadership Academy Associate to join our team. This position is fully remote.
The Academic Leadership Academy is comprised of several pillars focused on an apprentice program for vocational nursing faculty, leadership programs and coursework, external partnerships, mentorship, and training programs, and supports extended learning opportunities through the academic conference and or symposiums. The Leadership Academy Associate will partner with the Director in the delivery, organization, monitoring, and support of The Academic Leadership Academy. This role requires administrative and planning skills, the ability to create content, and the ability to manage projects from inception to execution. The Leadership Associate role may also require the delivery of seminars and workshops, etc. to support the continued growth and development of future leaders.
Job Description
- Assist with the management of the credential process for faculty candidates from hire through receipt of their teaching credential
- Support the mentorship process as required for the attainment of the teaching credential
- Administer and analyze survey and assessment data as a continuous measurement of departmental initiatives
- Contribute to the development and delivery of coursework, workshops, presentations, etc. in support of future and current academic leaders
- Assist with the planning and production of academic and or leadership conferences, symposiums, or events as determined by institutional or departmental needs
- Contribute to the management of projects from inception through completion
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in support of departmental and institutional projects as required
- Assist with the administration of the course registration portal for internal and external users
- Provide administrative support as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Salary starting at $65k
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred in leadership, education, or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years' work experience in postsecondary education.
- Requires an individual able to work independently with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with instructional design and leadership training programming.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- PMI certification a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Zoom.
