Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead new business growth across the Continental Europe (CE) region, with a strategic focus on Professional Services Organisations (PSO) and Not-for-Profit (NfP) customers.
This is a senior leadership role with significant commercial impact. You will own the regional existing business strategy, lead and develop a high performing sales team, and personally shape and close complex, high value opportunities involving senior, multistakeholder decision makers.
You will act as the regional commercial lead for PSO and NfP within CE —bringing deep market understanding, influencing Go to Market execution, and partnering closely across the organisation to drive sustainable growth.
The role is remote, with clear ownership and accountability for the CE region.
What You’ll Do
- Lead with Purpose - Inspire, challenge, and empower your team to perform at their best, setting a clear vision, high standards, and a strong performance culture.
- Drive Revenue & Growth - Define and execute the regional existing business sales strategy to consistently exceed targets, focusing on long term, sustainable growth.
- Own Complex Deals - Personally lead and close complex, multistakeholder existing business opportunities, typically engaging C-level and senior executive decision makers across PSO and NfP organisations.
- Pipeline & Forecast Ownership - Maintain full accountability for pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and disciplined execution across the region.
- Regional Market Leadership - Lead all existing business activity across the CE region, bringing a deep understanding of PSO and NfP buying cycles, value led selling and the competitor landscape.
- Build & Scale Capability - Directly lead an initial team of approximately 7 sales professionals, with responsibility to recruit, develop, and scale regional capability over time.
- Coach & Develop - Actively mentor and develop your team through hands on coaching, fostering commercial excellence in a fast paced, hybrid environment.
- Cross Functional Influence - Shape and influence outcomes through close collaboration with presales, value engineering, marketing, partners, and customer success teams to ensure strong alignment and execution.
- Data Driven Leadership - Leverage market insights, analytics, and performance data to inform decisions, optimise results, and continuously improve.
- Lead Through Change - Champion transformation, embracing change as a driver of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
What You Bring
- Proven experience leading high performing sales teams within cloud software / SaaS environments.
- A strong track record of exceeding sales revenue targets and scaling growth in competitive markets.
- Deep expertise in consultative, value led selling, confidently engaging C-level and senior executive stakeholders.
- Hands on, roll up your sleeves leadership—leading from the front when needed.
- Experience in SaaS organisations, ideally within scaleups or PE backed environments.
- ERP and financials experience preferred, particularly within mid-market, PSO, NfP or adjacent organisations.
- Strong working knowledge of CRM platforms and modern sales enablement tools. You are AI savvy.
- A customer-centric, collaborative mindset with shared accountability across functions.
- Business level English is essential. German or French speaking is a big plus.
- Commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and operational excellence.
