Job Description

As a Supply Chain Process & Systems Specialist, you will play a key role in driving the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of supply chain processes and systems across the organization. This position combines supply chain expertise, process management, data analysis, and system knowledge to support operational excellence and business transformation initiatives.

Working closely with Supply Chain, Operations, IT, and business stakeholders, you will help standardize processes, support system rollouts, deliver user training, and ensure effective adoption of supply chain tools and best practices. The role requires a strong understanding of supply chain operations, process orchestration, and digital solutions, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical and scalable solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is comfortable working with systems, analyzing data, managing change, and collaborating with global teams. The role also requires flexibility to travel as needed to support projects, implementations, and stakeholder engagement activities.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, document and continuously improve supply chain processes to increase efficiency, standardization and business impact.
  • Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities together with cross-functional stakeholders; support process governance and best-practice alignment.
  • Support implementation, optimization and adoption of supply chain tools such as SAP, Kinaxis Maestro, Power BI and related platforms.
  • Act as the link between business users and technical teams, translating operational needs into scalable system solutions.
  • Support testing, validation, issue resolution and continuous system enhancements.
  • Drive global and regional process/system rollouts, including training materials, workshops, user guidance and end-user support.
  • Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics; build reports and dashboards to highlight trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data-driven insights and operational feedback.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Orchestration, Process Management or a related field.
  • Good understanding of supply chain processes, process design/documentation, improvement methods and change management.
  • Knowledge of supply chain systems - ideally SAP, Kinaxis Maestro and other planning/execution platforms.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, databases or reporting tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into clear recommendations and action.
  • Experience with system implementations, rollouts, testing and user training.
  • Excellent communication with strong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to work effectively in global, cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent English is required; German and other languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness and availability to travel as required.

A salary in line with the market is offered for this position, which is based on the specific qualification and adequate professional experience.

We are required by law to state a minimum salary. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is € 50.000,- according to the collective agreement (woodworking industry).
