Job Description

As the Logistics Manager Region Western Europe you will be a strong and important part of a high engaged and motivated team and responsible for the roll out and optimization of all processes in Operations:

In this role your main responsibilities are: 

  • Functional lead of logistic management in the Western Europe countries.

  • Support of the countries in forecasting and other Operations  process.

  • Ensuring that the inventory levels are properly maintained; organizing and monitoring physical inventory counts, inventory quality and compliance with Doka quality standards.

  • Review of freight costs to monitor cost effectiveness.

  • Supporting the sales organization and countries with cost optimization and material availability for the customer orders. 

  • Partially support complaint management for all operations related customer complaints.

Qualifications

For this role, you should ideally have...

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in business studies with focus on  logistics/operations/supply chain.

  • Experience in administration, operations or logistics preferred. Previous experience in the Formwork business would be of added advantage.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (advanced Excel) is critical for this role.

  • High customer orientation and an ability to understand customer needs.

  • Ability to understand and work with different cultures and countries.

  • Strong analytical and effective problem solving skills

  • Excellent knowledge of English & German. Ability to understand French and Spanish will be of added advantage 

  • Good negotiation skills and ability to work on strict deadlines is important for this role

  • A person in this position should be willing to travel around 25% of their time

 

Additional Information

Minimum monthly fulltime salary of EUR 2.431,-. Extra payments will depend on qualification and
relevant working experience.
