Job Description

An exciting role for a Country Product Manager has opened up in Doka. If you are looking to work for a dynamic multinational that is growing its presence in Asia Pacific and the unique opportunity to set up and grow the product management function, then Doka is the place for you!

As the Country Product Manager, you will analyze potential new business fields and identify opportunities for new Doka products & services to increase market penetration. 

You will drive product innovation and product improvements in India including pricing, product specification and definition of supply chain. You will identify product gaps based on customer & market needs and propose solutions to fill those gaps. 

You will also facilitate product knowledge transfer to relevant parties and work with sales to analyse lost orders and generate prevention counter strategies foir future. 

In this role you report directly to the Managing Director Doka India and will be part of the leadership team discussions.

Qualifications

Required (Education and Technical)

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Degree in civil engineering or related technical fields. Also open to applicants with PG Diploma in Management or MBA.
  • Excellent experience of Indian construction industry and job site with proven understanding of peculiarities of Indian market.
  • Solid product management experience including experience working on successful product launches and/or adopting an international product line to India
  • Experience in a multinational organization dealing in equipment, construction chemicals, or construction supplies.
