Mission statement
The Communications & Content Creator Specialist focuses on supporting both the communication and content creator verticals for the Korean market. This role collaborates with local, regional and central teams providing insights and best practices to enrich our Communication and Creator ecosystem.
Reporting into the Communications & Content Creators Manager, Japan & Korea, this role will support in the management of agencies and develop relationships with press and content creators in the Korean market.
They also play a key role in the deployment and growth of the strategic Ubisoft Creators program that aims at enlarging our pool of Creators by providing them with more services and content: this role promotes the program and onboard new creators, to encourage creators to participate in activations and to provide them with ongoing support.
Utilizing a “player-first” mentality, this role will secure unique coverage with a focus on storytelling aiming to drive awareness, engagement, and growth of Ubisoft’s player base. They will also support the organisation of remote and in-person press events and consumer shows where applicable.
In this role, you will:
• Act as key executor of allocated brands in Korea, ensuring consistent messaging & communication through all touch points, both internal and external
• Contribute to the Content Creator and Communication GTM process for the Korean market, collaborating with local and regional management to coordinate go-to-market strategies
• Illustrate a keen understanding of the media and creator landscape
• Develop and maintain Ubisoft’s relationships with key creators, press and agencies
• Demonstrate efficiency across communications and creator plans, illustrating ROI for all campaign elements
• Develop close working relationships with local, regional and central teams
• Research, evaluate, outreach and own communication with a vast amount of content creators across all platforms
• Support deployment of the Ubisoft Creators Program: applications vetting, local promotion, business requests management, etc.
• Support Korean esports initiatives with creator integration when required
• Alongside local management, drive awareness of the Korean market, identifying local opportunities and specific press and creator needs with regional and global counterparts
• Coordinate and support impactful events, trips and exhibitions
• Manage, localise and organise delivery of all press and creator materials
• Reporting of performance and results to regional and central teams
• Keep abreast of external best practices and trends to recommend solutions and tools that support the communications and creator network.
• Manage and maintain close working relationships with support agencies and ensure KPIs are met for all campaigns.
• Ensure all campaigns are employed and delivered by relevant deadlines and within budget.
• Management of allocated brands budgets in MINT
Your main KPIs will be the following:
• Lead reporting for local and global teams across press and creators in Korea
• Delivering campaign ROI for allocated brands including press sentiment and exposure, creator viewership, engagement, and retention
• Recruitment for the Ubisoft Creators Platform in Korea
• Developing and maintain fruitful relationships local agencies, press and creators
• Maintaining close working relationships with the regional and global teams
• Achieving KPIs by local, regional central teams
• Ensuring allocated campaigns are delivered within relevant deadlines and within budget
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you need:
• 1-2 years’ experience in communications or marketing
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills, and an eye for detail.
• Avid consumer of creator content across all platforms.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to identify trends, opportunities, and relationships within the online gaming community and to leverage them to drive innovation.
• Ability to deliver concise qualitative and quantitative reporting.
• Fluent in Korean, ability to communicate in English and Japanese
