Job Description

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Technician (PT Tech) to join our clinical team in McKinney, United States. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced physical therapists to deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative, team-focused environment. As a PT Tech, you'll play a vital role in supporting our patients' rehabilitation journeys while maintaining the highest standards of clinical efficiency and patient satisfaction.   • Assist physical therapists with direct patient care and therapeutic exercises under clinical supervision
  • Administer hot and cold therapy packs and other modalities as directed by the clinical team
  • Maintain, clean, and organize therapy equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety
  • Keep the clinic environment clean, neat, and organized to support an efficient workflow
  • Document patient interactions and treatment details accurately and thoroughly
  • Support patients with mobility assistance and positioning during therapy sessions
  • Follow all clinical protocols and safety procedures to maintain a secure patient environment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, therapists, and team members to ensure coordinated care
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive clinic culture that prioritizes patient outcomes and team collaboration

Qualifications

  • Student currently enrolled in a physical therapy or occupational therapy curriculum program (preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent; working toward or currently pursuing a college degree (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine ability to connect with diverse patients
  • Responsible work ethic with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Caring nature with authentic interest in helping people achieve their health goals
  • Basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, and patient safety principles
  • Ability to follow clinical protocols and maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Physical capability to assist patients, lift equipment, and perform manual tasks as needed
  • Attention to detail with strong documentation and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Flexible approach to work with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
