Job Description


To effectively meet the company's needs, the Transport Team is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Transport and Customs Analyst. In this role, you will leverage your analytical skills to interpret and evaluate data, providing critical support to various stakeholders within the supply chain. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze products to determine the most accurate HS code and identify opportunities to reduce customs duties through methods such as certificates of origin, duty drawbacks, and rulings. 
  • Serve as a liaison between departments to address and coordinate solutions for logistical challenges. 
  • Perform in-depth analyses for transportation projects and initiatives to support decision-making. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact with the customs broker to address and resolve issues related to the import and export of goods. 
  • Audit customs documentation to ensure full compliance with regulations. 
  • Respond to inquiries from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and provide accurate, timely information. 
     

Qualifications

To join our team, you need: 

  • Diploma in operations management and/or logistics with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.  Certificate in customs compliance (asset). 
  • Have good knowledge of customs and transport regulations; CUSMA, rules of origin, HST code, Incoterms Canada and United States, transport documents. 
  • Good knowledge of Excel for V LOOKUP and pivot tables. 
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written, as you will need to collaborate with colleagues and clients across Canada
