Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Compensation Operations leader who is both a strategist as well as an expert executioner to help design and deliver on our portfolio of compensation operations programming and deliverables.
In this role, you will operate in a fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of accuracy, strategy and cross-functional partnership.
You will have the opportunity to strategically build, iterate and manage critical compensation programs and processes cross-functionally and globally. The scope for this role covers a variety of compensation programs and business processes surrounding base pay, variable pay and equity compensation.
What You’ll Do
- Function as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders to deliver competitive compensation programs that support Twitter’s mission, talent strategy, as well as business needs.
- Re-imagine and drive execution excellence of cyclical and ad-hoc compensation programs by establishing standard operating procedures, documentation, and automation that helps the team move more efficiently..
- Work with the internal systems team and/or vendors to update Compensation/HR platforms (Workday, Tableau) to meet the needs of our team members and business partners
- Develop recommendations for compensation structures, job architecture, org designs, etc that are cost-effective and provide effective pay for performance outcomes
- Manage priorities, workflow, and dependencies in connection with appropriate organization objectives and roadmaps.
- Coordinate resources needed to meet or exceed deliverables, delegating and escalating as needed. Identify and manage risks with ease in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment.
- Ensure programs and business processes are sustainable and scalable by measuring success, and driving process improvements to promote efficiency.
- Facilitate decision-making and alignment between key partners from the People Team, IT, Legal, Finance, Comms, and leadership.
- Manage, develop and coach corporate compensation team members and provide support as needed to other Total Rewards team members and key stakeholders.
- Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders, facilitates appropriate change management, lead project teams, and serve as the primary POC as needed.
- Key partners include HRBPs, Employee Communications, People Systems & Analytics, Legal, Finance, Payroll, Recruiting, Learning & Development, etc.

- Business, human resources, finance, operations, or related experience required

Requirements
- 8-12 years experience in project/program management, including HR programs
- Experience managing compensation programs and familiarity with base pay, variable pay, and equity compensation programs preferred
- Experience coaching and developing others Change management experience and demonstrated ability to influence at all levels within an organization
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth, dynamic business environment; tech industry experience highly desired
- BA/BS in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience
