Increasing the speed with which we can ship products is a key objective for Twitter. In this role you will be working on a team that's building a platform that enables teams at Twitter to register, calculate, govern & consume the product metrics they need to test hypotheses and make decisions.

This is a relatively newly formed team, working on cutting edge technologies and new implementations for this space. By joining this team, you'll have direct ability to influence the technical strategy that ladders up into one of our key company level objectives: increasing the velocity with which we can build products.

While on this team, you will collaborate with engineers and cross functional partners, both on the team and off, to design, build, and ship a complex product serving multiple different customers and needs.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of driving collaboration both within your team and with other teams

A strong technical background preferably with experience building data pipelines

A proven understanding of storage and data processing systems, interface and API design, and the ability to use and apply them in real-world situations with complex constraints

A strong passion for building tools and systems that enable other developers to build great things

Experience working closely across a variety of teams including other backend engineers, front end engineers, and product management

Preferable previous experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$146,000.00 - USD$204,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
