Job Description

We are looking for an extraordinary product leader who cares deeply about how software products are made. At Twitter, the Platform Infrastructure team supports hundreds of iOS, Android and Web engineers distributed around the world. Our goal is to make software development at Twitter easy, efficient and fun. We don't want any engineer to be bored waiting for a local build to complete, frustrated waiting for code review or confused trying to pick which framework is the right one to use.

This is a unique opportunity to foster and grow an industry-leading, internal developer community.

In partnership with a world-class team of distributed engineers, you will be responsible for developing, prioritizing, communicating, and executing on a roadmap that increases client (iOS, Android, Web) engineering efficiency and satisfaction across Twitter.

Working closely with your own team and partnering with a diverse set of product teams from across Twitter, you will help us:

  • Craft a product strategy to give consumer product teams as much autonomy as possible as they develop new products or maintain existing ones

  • Help to build, prioritize and execute on the full scope of the Platform Infrastructure roadmap

  • Grow internal programs for improving collaboration and knowledge sharing between client engineers

  • Determine the best ways to measure engineering efficiency and satisfaction to highlight the quantifiable impact of your team’s work

  • Help manage our strategic partnerships with industry partners such as Apple and Google

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of product management experience

  • Experience working in a platform or infrastructure-centric role

  • A track record of managing large scale, cross-company products in complex customer environments

  • Experience simultaneously supporting multiple teams that span several geographies

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act):
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$167,000.00 - USD$234,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
