Job Description
The M&A TPM will partner closely with Twitter’s Corporate Development & Strategy team and Product & Engineering leaders to ensure a methodical evaluation and successful integration of Twitter’s M&A transactions. This will include tight coordination throughout the deal process from due diligence through integration closeout. The goal is to enhance and complete streamlined processes to coordinate across both internal and external cross-functional teams. The M&A TPM will be an integral part of Twitter’s cross-functional M&A team and will be a catalyst to systematizing Twitter’s acquisition processes, especially diligence and integration.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Plan and Lead all aspects of technical due diligence and product and engineering integration of acquired companies.
- Develop and improve on existing frameworks, work processes and standardized templates related to various stages of integration and due diligence.
- Work as a liaison between Twitter’s Corporate Development and various Product & Engineering teams to lead the technical due diligence and integration of acquired companies.
- Partner with Corporate Development to ensure the integration process is clearly understood and followed by deal sponsors and cross-functional customers, both internally and within target companies.
- Identify and creatively resolve complex technical and cross-functional issues and risks (often unique to each deal).
- Partner with deal sponsors to help achieve expected strategic rationale and value drivers.
- Run periodic retrospectives to capture feedback and standard methodologies.
- Continually refine and improve processes for acquisition and integration.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree, driven, self-starter with a passion for excellence (MBA or Masters in an engineering related field is a plus).
- 7+ years total experience as a TPM, engineering leader, product manager (technical domain), or related field.
- 3+ years M&A experience, or relevant integration program management experience. Strong preference for M&A experience at a leading technology company.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Ability to speak fluently with both technical and non-technical customers at all levels of the organization including most senior leadership.
- Sharp strategic problem solver who can design and execute on a vision, and can stay organized in a fast-paced, high-growth and constantly evolving environment.
- Experience in social media, software, Internet or digital media industries is a plus.

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$146,000.00 - USD$204,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
