Job Description
What You’ll Do
Your role is to understand our customers, all 1500+ engineers at Twitter, gather insights, find opportunities, and help prioritize work on our suite of developer tools in a way that optimizes the overall developer experience. You will:
- Champion developers' priorities and shepherd developer-focused features from inception to implementation
- Convey your vision through bold product roadmaps, working closely with product leaders and software engineers, and participate in all levels of team planning.
- Create and maintain concrete, quantitative, and descriptive profiles of customers and their needs. These include mobile developers, web developers, core service backend developers, and machine learning data scientists.

Who You Are
You have strong experience in software engineering & product management and are passionate about customer success. You want to get hands-on to understand the existing developer experience and see opportunities to improve it. You know how to develop a set of requirements for adopting technology and can communicate benefits and drawbacks. You have a good knowledge of existing developer tools/architectural components and their tradeoffs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of four years of product management or related technical experience with a track record of successfully delivering products or services
- Computer science, electrical/computer engineering, and/or software engineering background required; a background in developer tooling and devops is a strong plus.
- Ability to think strategically and craft a compelling product vision.
- Experience driving impact through cross-functional leadership.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- You have a get-stuff-done attitude, have great positive energy, and thrive in a fast paced environment.
- You are passionate about technology and can keep up with the latest trends in the field.

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$191,000.00 - USD$267,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
