Job Description
We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead the product definition and development of twitter media understanding using ML and computer vision technologies. The ideal candidate would have both a deep technical background and a strong, customer-centric approach to product management, which has been repeatedly demonstrated through past projects. The media understanding product will impact multiple product surfaces in Twitter. In the role you will:
Partner closely with product teams to understand their business goal and how user understanding can address their needs
Translate customer needs into product and technical requirements
Contribute to long term user understanding vision & strategy in Cortex
Drive clear product definition and roadmap to achieve business goals
Define and track metrics to measure product quality and business impact
Communicate product status and impact to customers, stakeholders and leadership
Collaborate closely with engineers, researchers, data scientists, TPM and other product managers
Evangelize AI/ML across the firm and promote adoption and enablement of user understanding
Qualifications
8+ years experience in Product Management, or similar role (engineering manager) leading cross-functional product or software engineering teams
3+ years experience shipping AI/ML/Computer Vision, Data Management or Analytics products
Experience in launching products from 0 to 1
Take leadership and accountability proactively in action and results
Experiences in drafting product strategy and plans, driving consensus and buy-off from executives level reviews
Managed and successfully delivery multiple projects with complexity requiring cross team collaboration
MBA or Master/PhD degree in Computer Science , Statistics, Data Science or related field

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$167,000.00 - USD$234,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
