Job Description
Twitter is seeking a product manager to lead strategy and product development for our developer experience. The Twitter Developer Platform aims to onboard and retain millions of new developers building tools and apps that serve the public conversation.
The purpose of Twitter is to serve the public conversation, and our mission with the developer platform is to unlock developer creativity & innovation to serve the public conversation. Our core product, the Twitter API, has been used by millions of developers to build integrations with Twitter, from “hello world” apps in classroom settings to the most-used consumer and business products in the world.
This role will be responsible for delivering the next generation of our developer experience from onboarding to retention. Success will require developing a deep understanding of the needs and challenges of developers and delivering products that solve them at scale. Your initial focus will be on evolving our existing onboarding and developer portal products as you further develop the strategy for the next several years. You'll work collaboratively with teams like Engineering, Design, Data Science, Research, Marketing, Developer Relations, and other Product Managers to ship software that helps more customers be successful with our developer platform.
Qualifications
You have 2+ years of experience in a product management role delivering software products that solve customer problems
You have a strong working knowledge of a developer as a primary customer
You have a demonstrated history creating compelling product visions and strategies and are adept at communicating them in both written and verbal mediums
You have an expert understanding of how to design and implement product experiments for thousands of customers in support of target onboarding and retention metrics
