Job Description
We’re looking for world class technical Program Manager who shares our vision for a more rational world and can evangelize it internally and externally. As a Senior member of the team you will be working to unlock the value of the data: help people to find, understand and trust data that they already have. The ideal candidate will work on leading, managing and executing the Analytics Product roadmap on operational and strategic levels.
In this role you will..
Analytics Roadmap: Lead efforts to define, build and communicate a unified analytics roadmap (metrics and ML models), priorities, experiments, and decisions clearly across a wide spectrum of audiences from internal customers (operations, product, engineering) to executives
Perform analysis in order to define strategic priorities for analytics
Be data driven, creating and monitoring product and customer value metrics to make objective prioritization decisions
Align on underlying datasets and metadata (business, product and engineering)
Drive Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly business reviews and follow-up on action items
Project Management: Initiate, drive, and deliver effective programs in partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the programs are communicated, supported and delivered to the highest standards
Manage project plans and schedule commitments, ensure plans are integrated and aligned to overall organizational and business strategy
Analyze, remove, and proactively prevent roadblocks across teams to meet quality standards, project milestones, and business objectives.
Build and maintain an effective and groomed backlog providing clear requirements for new initiatives and enhancements
Strategic Consultant: Define, own and socialize success metrics and key performance indicators.
Demonstrate that customer satisfaction is a top priority by ensuring team’s commitments are aligned with and communicated to meet customer satisfaction objectives.
Balance the business needs with technical constraints by building deep subject matter expertise for your area.
Conduct data analysis to make business recommendations in areas such as cost-benefit, invest-divest, forecasting and impact
Relationship: Develop and sustain strong working relationships with cross functional partners across the globe - operations, product, engineering, program management, vendors, etc.
Exercise technical judgment in working with large, cross-functional teams
Qualifications
To do so, you'll leverage..
7+ years of hands-on technical program or product management experience - both outbound and inbound - in a fast-paced agile development environment (prefer 5+ years in software development)
You can just as easily argue for a product investment with an engineer as you could argue against an investment with a non-technical business leader
Self-starter with strong creative problem solving, great communication, time-management, and teamwork skills
Have delivered user experiences that are empowering, delightful and well-designed. Requirements gathering, and defining scope.
Released analytics/ business intelligence products to cross functional customers in various business sectors
Skilled in discussing technical details with engineers & product design while also clearly communicating with leadership, and non technical customers
Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time
B.S. in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
