Job Description

Twitter is seeking a product manager to build out and scale our data systems and tools for our developer platform. To onboard and retain millions of new developers, we need robust sets of useful data to drive unique insights and help us build what developers need to succeed.

The purpose of Twitter is to serve the public conversation, and our mission with the developer platform is to unlock developer creativity & innovation to serve the public conversation. Our core product, the Twitter API, has been used by millions of developers to build integrations with Twitter, from “hello world” apps in classroom settings to the most-used consumer and business products in the world.

This role will be responsible for delivering the next generation of our data tools and systems for internal Twitter teams working on the public API. Success will require developing a deep understanding of the needs and challenges of various internal Twitter teams that rely on data to augment their decisions. You'll work collaboratively with teams like Software Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, Marketing,Developer Relations, and other Product Managers to improve our datasets and make them useful to help achieve our goals.

Qualifications

 

  • You have experience delivering data products within an organization or team, with 2+ years as a product manager, data scientist, data engineer, or similar role

  • You have a strong understanding of how data engineering, data science, and business intelligence teams work together to create impactful data products

  • You have experience with systems and platforms for data warehousing, data analytics, experimentation and modeling, and business intelligence

  • You are proficient in SQL
