Turnitin is looking for a high performing leader to lead the Global IT Support Team and Project Management Office, using best practices and industry leading methodologies to drive continuous improvement and deliver excellence for the Turnitin Employees & software delivery lifecycle.

• Provides hands on leadership of the team

• Collaborates with Peers and team to define, develop and implement roadmaps across Corp IT support & PMO

• Drives the PMO leading the cross-functional management of dependencies, risks and issues  across teams delivering on product, infrastructure and enterprise roadmaps

• Coordinates and leads the development and delivery of the Corp IT roadmap including the integration roadmap and coordination with Integration Management Office

• Aligns with engineering and product management to ensure on-time delivery of high quality features managed by PMO

• Analyzes and manages stakeholder metrics across organization 

• Provides personal development opportunities for the Corp IT team and PMO team to broaden and enhance their skill sets, working with the team to ensure they have Individual development plans to stretch and grow their skills

• Identifies opportunities for improvement by challenging the status quo and defining alternative and creative solutions

• Stays up-to-date with tools and new approaches to tools suites supported,  bringing recommendations for change and innovation to leadership and the team.

• Ensures the team exhibits great communication across the organization and are up to date with the vision and mission of the company.

• Coaches and mentors current leaders and program managers to stretch goals and personal improvement

• 5+ years of project management and/or program management 
• 2+ years experience managing and coaching leaders
• 5+ years hiring, managing and mentoring team members
• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Jira
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience  with software development life cycle
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proactive working style with the ability to adapt to change.
• Experience managing remote teams across the globe
