Job Description

The key purpose of the role is to ensure that the number of lapses (late renewals) is brought back to zero. This role is responsible for administering and executing the customer's contract renewal process. As a Renewals Specialist, you will support the Account Managers in ensuring that all subscription renewals are timely informed, quoted, processed and invoiced such that lapses are minimized. You will collaborate with the Account Managers so that possible uplift and cross-sells are properly administered and included in a smooth renewal process. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the end to end renewal process. Keeping customers informed of their upcoming renewal, creating and providing renewal quotes, delivering electronically to customers, and ultimately receiving and processing the PO from each customer in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure all renewals are completed prior to contract expiration
  • Follow defined renewal processes and procedures
  • Become proficient in our admin processes and pricing
  • Work closely and collaboratively with each Account Manager supporting them with a smooth and predictable renewal process
  • Identify customer needs and escalate queries to the appropriate department
  • Provide accurate, complete and timely reporting
  • Identify and establish improvements in the renewal process to better provision timely renewals, create efficiency and customer satisfaction, collaborating with the internal teams where necessary  

Qualifications

  • Strong spreadsheet skills
  • Technically adept with Google Suite
  • Fluency in English, and fluency in other European language is a plus
  • Experience in working with a CRM, preferably SalesForce
  • Proven time management and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • An entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit
  • Organized, process-driven  personality with solid attention to detail
  • Customer success oriented
  • Ability to manage and assess multiple priorities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Curiosity & a passion for learning
