Job Description
- Provide expert guidance and support to the Project Management Team on ESH matters, monitoring and verifying compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Assist in coordinating ESH aspects of projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, to monitor and verify that ESH considerations are integrated into project management.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate ESH risks associated with projects, and develop strategies to minimize potential impacts on employees, the environment, and the community.
- Develop, review, and update ESH policies and procedures to monitor and verify compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop project-specific ESH plans, including hazard assessments, risk management plans, and emergency response plans.
- Provide ESH training and awareness programs for project team members, contractors, and stakeholders to monitor and verify that they understand their ESH responsibilities and obligations
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor and verify compliance with ESH regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Investigate ESH incidents, near misses, and accidents, and prepare reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and track ESH performance metrics, including injury rates, environmental metrics, and compliance metrics, and report to stakeholders.
- Communicate ESH information and project updates to stakeholders, including employees, contractors, regulators, and the community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Occupational Health & Safety
- 5–10 years in HSE with experience in industrial, manufacturing, EPC projects
- Strong skills in audit, compliance monitoring, and reporting
- Effective stakeholder management (contractors, regulators, internal teams)
