Job Description
As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for optimizing the use of available resources to complete work plan scopes within budget and time constraints. Key responsibilities include:
- Resource Optimization: Work in an integrated planning, cost, and risk environment.
- Scheduling Methodology: Follow established planning and scheduling methodology.
- Schedule Risk Analysis: Carry out Schedule Risk Analysis throughout the project life cycle.
- Project Milestones: Develop Project Milestone and Progress tracking baselines.
- Contractor Management: Ensure contractor compliance and manage performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or relevant equivalent.
- Experience: Extensive experience in a project planning role, ideally consultancy.
- Planning & Scheduling: Extensive experience in planning & scheduling of major capital projects, ideally in the Infrastructure sector (Water, Rail, Roads, Power).
- Software Proficiency: Experienced user of Primavera Project Planner 6.
- Risk & Data Analysis: Experience with risk identification and analysis and data analysis.
- Project Management: Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles (PMP certification is desirable).
