Job Description
The role is data & digital focused and involves the delivery of client projects within a consulting environment. The role is responsible for managing project data, preparing accurate and timely reports, supporting Agile project management processes, and providing administrative support for contracts and internal business development activities. The position requires strong client relationship management skills and the ability to contribute to business growth through proposal and capability support.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Project Data Management & Reporting
- Collect and consolidate project data from various sources, including client project managers, business leads, and technical teams.
- Enter, validate, and maintain data in established templates and reporting tools.
- Prepare, analyse, and distribute regular and ad hoc project reports (e.g., status updates, dashboards, portfolio summaries) for internal and client stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all reporting outputs.
- Adjust reports in response to feedback or changing client requirements.
Agile Project Management Support
- Assist with Agile project management activities, including supporting ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
- Maintain and update Agile tools (e.g., digital boards, backlogs, task tracking systems).
- Track and report on Agile delivery metrics (e.g., burndown, velocity, work in progress).
- Coordinate and update risk, issue, and dependency registers.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as a day-to-day contact for client stakeholders regarding reporting, data, and project administration.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with client project sponsors, managers, and business leads.
- Clarify and document client expectations for reporting and ensure these are consistently met.
- Respond promptly to client queries and requests for information.
- Escalate risks or issues to the PMO Lead as required.
Business Development Support
- Assist in the preparation of client proposals, bids, and capability statements by providing accurate project data and supporting documentation.
- Help draft and format proposal content and presentations.
- Maintain internal libraries of templates and credentials for use in business development.
Contract Administration
- Receive and process contract-related information from internal legal or commercial teams.
- Enter contract details into predefined templates and internal systems.
- Prepare draft documentation and route contracts for review and approval.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting templates, tools, and processes.
- Support the adoption of best practices in project management, data management, and client service.
Qualifications
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience building and maintaining professional relationships with clients.
- Intermediate proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to work with quantitative data and project metrics.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Experience working as part of a high-performance team.
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 package.
