Job Description

The duties of the Resident Works Supervisor shall include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Assist in the supervision of Contract Works including checking of setting out, leveling, cuttings, footings and excavations by contractors
  • Assist in the supervision of mixing, placing and curing of concrete
  • Assist in the supervision of the making of concrete cubes and the cutting of steel bars by the contractors for subsequent testing
  • Assist in the recording of labour, materials and plant delivered to site for compilation of site records by the Clerk of Works
  • Escort the delivery of concrete cubes and other building materials to laboratories for testing as instructed
  • Keep approval samples in lockable storage and check against the materials delivered to site
  • Witness all site tests
  • Attend site audits as required
  • Carry out all such other duties as directed by the Consultant and Clerk of Works
  • Assists RCOW in performing the required environmental and safety duties

Qualifications

  • Degree in Construction, Building Studies or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in supervision of contract work
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; fluency in English required.
