Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager (Mechanical/Electrical) will support the project management team in overseeing Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities for mechanical and electrical works in real estate projects. The role ensures compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and client requirements while maintaining timelines and cost efficiency.
Quality Assurance & Quality Control
Implement QA/QC procedures for mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical distribution, etc.).
Conduct inspections, audits, and tests to verify compliance with project specifications and standards.
Review contractor’s QA/QC documentation, method statements, and inspection test plans.
Ensure corrective actions are taken for non-conformities.
Project Coordination
Monitoring MEP activities.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
Support project documentation, including progress reports, quality records, and compliance certificates.
Technical Support
Review design drawings and specifications for mechanical and electrical systems.
Provide inputs during design coordination and value engineering exercises.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and statutory requirements.
Stakeholder Management
Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
Support project meetings and provide updates on QA/QC status.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree - Mechanical / Electrical engineering.
2–5 years of experience in QA/QC within Industrial, Oil & Gas, EPC.
Familiarity with project management tools and QA/QC documentation.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
