Job Description
We are looking for a Project Director to join our Infrastructure Cost Management team based in Birmingham or Nottingham or Cambridge.
In this key position you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the team, embedding and promoting the values of Turner & Townsend.
- Set a clear strategic vision and direction for the cost management team, aligning with our business objectives and client goals.
- Lead inclusively, leveraging the diverse perspectives, insights and expertise of our people to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
- Identify, coach and mentor talent across the team, inspiring individuals to realise their full potential and progress their careers.
- Act as a role model and champion of our One Business culture, fostering collaboration across disciplines, sectors and regions.
- Build trusted relationships with key clients, stakeholders and industry partners, acting as a brand ambassador for Turner & Townsend.
- Achieve great outcomes by balancing the needs of people, clients, shareholders and society, always acting with integrity and professionalism.
- Ensure a culture of safety, wellbeing and ethical behaviour in all aspects of work.
- Provide strategic commercial leadership on major infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery excellence across cost, value and risk.
- Lead and support business development activities, securing repeat work and expanding our client base.
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, innovation and digital adoption across the cost management function.
- Oversee financial performance and resource planning, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
- Contribute to thought leadership, industry engagement and innovation initiatives to position Turner & Townsend at the forefront of the infrastructure sector.
- Be a subject matter expert in Cost Management, providing senior oversight on complex projects and strategic client engagements.
Qualifications
Degree in Quantity Surveying
FRICS/MRICS (Preferred)
Consultancy experience is preferred
