Job Description
- Responsible for the development of data models and design of digital (Power BI based) reports and dashboards to visualize project performance (e.g. construction schedule, production data, etc.) and generate useful insights to improve decision making by site management – in accordance with Client’s digital / IM governance rules
- Champions data collection / sharing initiatives between Client and Contractors
- Identifies and champions opportunities to eliminate manual reporting processes by digitalizing them
- Responsible for the roll-out of a site observation tool developed with MS Power Apps capturing progress, quality and HSE observations (e.g. provide training sessions for newcomers, collect users feedback, etc.); responsible for quality checks and validation of data captured via site observation tool
- Responsible for implementing weekly, monthly data collection and reporting templates
- Responsible for producing weekly, monthly site reports
Qualifications
- Ideally 5 - 10 year experience in digital project controls, data analytics, Power BI development
- Demonstrated solid data and digital foundations - Data Engineering, Data Analytics certifications beneficial
- Proficient in MS Power BI and DAX
- Proficient with collaboration tools like MS Teams and MS Sharepoint
- Proficient with MS Power Apps / Power Automate beneficial
- Previous construction project experience beneficial
- Detailed oriented and disciplined
- Self-organized, self-motivated
- Analytical and practical approach to problem-solving
- Ability to educate other team members who are not data savvy
- Excellent communicator (Fluent in English oral and written)
