Job Description

We are looking for a Commissioning Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and documentation of commissioning activities for data center projects, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with safety and performance standards.

Responsibilities

Planning and Execution Support

  • Assist in the preparation and revision of commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
  • Track inspection activities and support functional testing of electrical and mechanical systems (e.g., power distribution, lighting, HVAC).
  • Monitor and document Request for Information (RFI) workflows related to commissioning deliverables.
  • Record findings, issues, and corrective actions during commissioning processes.

Coordination and Communication

  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams to ensure commissioning activities meet technical and scheduling requirements.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and provide assistance to commissioning team members.
  • Participate in meetings and maintain status updates for commissioning milestones.

Quality Assurance Support

  • Assist in quality audits and validate compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
  • Support on-site testing activities and help ensure that documentation is complete and accurate.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Prepare and manage commissioning documentation, including:
  • Energization sequences
  • Inspection logs
  • Functional test reports (e.g., FATs, FWTs)
  • Technical forms and completion records
  • Ensure all documents are reviewed, approved, and properly archived for handover.

Schedule Monitoring

  • Support schedule tracking for commissioning tasks and monitor delivery timelines of key equipment and systems.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in industrial, infrastructure, or mission-critical construction projects.
  • Technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering preferred.
  • Familiarity with commissioning procedures, test protocols, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and collaborative platforms.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, with strong written communication and attention to detail.
