Job Description

We are seeking a technically capable Cost Controller to support the delivery of complex infrastructure projects.

This role is central to ensuring robust cost management and reporting across all project phases.

  • Project Cost Control: Lead the development, maintenance, and analysis of cost control systems, ensuring accurate forecasting and budget tracking.
  • Data-Driven Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards and cost reports using tools such as Power BI, providing insights to project teams and clients.
  • System Integration: Work with project controls platforms (e.g. EcoSys, PRISM) to manage cost data, track variances, and support earned value analysis.
  • Client-Facing Delivery: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver tailored cost control solutions.
  • Governance & Assurance: Support project assurance activities by validating cost data, identifying risks, and contributing to audit readiness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with planning, risk, and commercial teams to ensure cost controls align with broader project objectives.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a detail-oriented team player with a passion for delivering value through data-driven project controls.

  • Experience: 3–5 years in a project controls role, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with systems such as EcoSys, PRISM, or similar; Power BI experience is desirable.
  • Sector Knowledge: Exposure to infrastructure and digital controls projects is preferred.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal English skills, with the ability to produce clear reports and client communications.
  • Personal Attributes: Inquisitive, friendly, and eager to learn; able to work both independently and collaboratively.
