Job Description
AMCL is looking to recruit graduates into our team as Junior Infrastructure Asset Management Consultants. The role will support the delivery of a variety of consultancy projects for high profile infrastructure organisations across the transport, energy and utilities sectors. The role provides an opportunity to work on a variety of projects including business capability improvement, digital advisory, and asset investment planning.
You will be joining a high-performing team of infrastructure asset management professionals and will be able to contribute to the development of the cutting edge approaches and services that AMCL delivers to clients globally.

Our Early Careers Development Programme provides a structured learning environment to provide new starters with the necessary skills and qualifications to become successful Consultants.
Throughout the programme, you will receive specialist Infrastructure Asset Management training, as well as the opportunity to develop a range of professional and personal skills that will help you succeed in your career at AMCL. To support your development journey, we have a dedicated eLearning platform as well as access to a fantastic team of trainers. In addition, you will be individually assigned a Line Manager, Mentor and Buddy. Our strong development support network is well equipped for you to achieve your career goals.
The Junior Consultant role covers the first eighteen months of your career at AMCL and introduces the technical, professional and personal skills that you will gain from working at AMCL. The main purpose of this role is to ensure that you are progressing within a learning environment, developing your capabilities and ensuring that you have the requisite attributes as you move through your career towards Consultant and beyond.
Qualifications
We are looking for people who:
- Have a passion for the built environment and a keen interest effecting positive change for clients, communities and the planet
- Have a demonstrable interest in the construction industry across infrastructure and real estate, and who understand the challenges facing the industry
- Strive to deliver excellent customer service and uphold our commitment to quality
- Have an awareness of current environmental issues and are keen to actively work towards a more sustainable future across the construction industry
- Have an analytical mindset and wish to develop their skills
- Hold an interest in exploring and presenting data
- Want to deliver projects and programmes
- Recognise their own development needs and are willing to invest time and energy in learning and refining their technical and commercial skills

In some regional roles being able to drive will be necessary due to the location of client offices. Please also note this is not a remote role as we operate a hybrid working approach you will need to be willing and able to work in a Turner & Townsend office or a client site.
To be considered for roles in the Defence arena you will need to pass both a Baseline Personnel Security Standard check and UKSV SC clearance – this process will initiated once you have accepted an offer and have indicated you are happy to go through these checks.
