Job Description

Provide client with professional advice on procurement on Direct/Indirect sourcing, supplier management, procurement strategy and monthly report development.

Comply with client's business ethics and take lead in procurement related work. Including but not limited to the following.

  1. Research, evaluate, and select vendors to source and procure materials, supplies, and equipment required for daily business operations.
  2. Develop and negotiate vendor contracts to ensure favorable terms and pricing for the company.
  3. Maintain accurate and organized procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
  4. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure product quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
  5. Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
  6. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce procurement expenses while maintaining quality standards.
  7. Assist in developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures for the company.
  8. Guide the bidding process to ensure the compliance and fairness of key processes
  9. Contract management - to ensure the timeliness and integrity of contracts. Key information should be clearly stipulated in the contract.
  10. Change management - Strictly control the change process, and the identification and confirmation of changes must comply with client's regulations
  11. Timely update of monthly purchasing report

Qualifications

  • Degree in any engineering discipline or equivalent
  • 10+ years' experience in pharma fields leading procurement / supply chain activities for new built projects in Asia.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin preferred, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities, including highly developed written communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Team player with excellent leadership and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiation, influence and persuade others
