Job Description
- Managing the Architectural Engineering consultant team in the design of the Hospital to meet design program.
- Coordinating design change and working closely with the client to meet their design requirements.
- Required to effectively communicate the project requirements, gather stakeholder requirement, manage design changes and meet critical deadlines.
- Must be client focused and confident
- Act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
- Manage the Client team deliverables to required quality and schedule requirements
- Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including the use of KPI’s to improve project performance
- Manage the change control process
- Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
- Ensure the production of formal project progress and other reports
- Take a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
Qualifications
- Trained in Architecture, design management or other comparable design, project management disciplines
- A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from dealing with strategic issues at conception stage, design development, construction, testing and commissioning, through completion and post-project review.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniques
- Excellent knowledge of construction industry technical matters
- People management experience, particularly in the context of managing large client team, and a multi-disciplinary consultant team to deliver a mega scale project.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Practical knowledge of digital tools e.g.BIM 360, Power BI, Microsoft Project, Microsoft office
- Proficiency in 3D modelling and rendering e.g. Rhinoceros, Revit/BIM, 3D Max, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lumion/Enscape/Unreal engine/Twin motion.
- Experience in scope baseline management/ change control work
