Job Description
Turner & Townsend are seeking a Cost Control Analyst (m/w/d) to work on major construction projects in the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for financial, cost elements, cost reporting.
- Preparing estimates and cost plans to include producing and presenting the deliverable.
- Updating cost plans during design development.
- Drives cost reduction strategies and interfaces with local levels of management, customer finance and division finance.
- Develop and model complex financials and make recommendations.
- Provides varying levels of advice and financial information to operational business groups.
- Supports business by closing the books, analyzing variances and trends, and developing financial forecasts that are consistent with the business objectives.
- Producing monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the client.
- Provides information and counsel in the areas of controls/risk management, claims mitigation, budgeting and planning, pricing, cost, marketing strategies, return on investment decisions, and the development of overall business plans and strategies.
- Independently and proactively analyzes financial information and develops solutions to complex problems.
- Ensures compliance with reporting standards and corporate policies.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction cost control/ cost engineering analysis, across the manufacturing sector, ideally in the semiconductor industry.
- Bachelors, Masters or MBA degree in Construction, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
- Proficiency in English and a good understanding of German are required.
- Advanced level MS Excel expertise, Power BI, MS Teams, Ecosys, SAP
- Thorough working knowledge of Construction Project Controls, Cost Engineering, finance, accounting and business analysis.
- Flexible with regards to travel, even with increased levels of remote working, we still need people who are willing to travel to client sites as required.
