Job Description
- Oversight and management of Long Lead Equipment Procurement Process both for OFCI and CFCI with respective suppliers to ensure compliance to client requirements (Refer to Appendix – CFCI Equipment RFP Process). Manage Long Lead Equipment, Procurement, Tracking, Logistics, coordination of services between the Design Team, GC, and Sub-Contractors.
- Arrange through the General contractor or other contractor (as appliable) for the delivery, storage, protection, and security of client-purchased materials, systems, and equipment that are part of the Project until such items are incorporated into the Project. Person shall coordinate to provide planning for warehousing including space requirements and duration of warehousing wherever required. Services shall also include identification of OFCI & CFCI material storage space & Material handling details.
- With Client teams the person shall coordinate the attendance of all appropriate parties at the contractor's final testing, start-up, and commissioning of all utilities, operational systems, and equipment. Client project engineering representatives will be involved as applicable at construction completion and/or punch list completion.
- Assist in expediting and to coordinate all pre-requisites in terms of fulfillment of procedures and checklists of construction and commissioning requirements prior to the delivery of materials requiring long lead time (both for OFCI and CFCI).
- Facilitate Meetings between Contractor and client stakeholders, including Design team to support LLE Procurement Process, including follow up with respective stakeholders for their input, wherever required.
- Review, monitor and track OFCI and CFCI LLE Procurement Plan, scope demarcation of packages, reporting of status and risks
- Support identification of issues between the Design drawings and Vendor Equipment Drawings and manage differences, driving clear direction on most onerous requirements with Contractor.
Qualifications
- Shall have 5+ years of experience in supply chain manager and Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in relevant field
