Overview: To support the set-up and delivery of retail projects and programmes from initial feasibility stage through to design, procurement, construction, and successful handover. You will be a project manager representing the end user client, taking the proactive actions in managing and coordinating all stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and suppliers. Individual project values up to US$6m and over.

Job Description
The Project Finance Partner is responsible for project cost budgeting, controlling, reporting and compliance according to client's group and local financial requirements. Budgeting, controlling and reporting on financial contingencies.
- Annual planning processes for total project costs
- Financial performance monthly follow up and reporting
- Drive budget in each director area and control implementation, analysis data and make business decision
- Ensure monthly closing and year end closing to meet both requirement and deadline of local and group
- Provide training and coaching to project organization on finance process
- Drive the cost controlling and monitoring processes of scope and scope changes
- Ensure that all relevant cost metrics are being tracked, reported, and proactively reacted on at each stage of the project
- Drive the efforts on project cost control including commitments against budget, analysis support of cost status and forecasting
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze project cost data using the project controls tool
- Maintain cost status by work package in support of work package and project objectives
- Maintain cost baseline and support cost baseline updates
- Manage the commitment management process in collaboration with Procurement
- Liaise with the affiliate Finance function to establish expectations and deliverables
- Perform monthly forecasting and provide input to bi-annual budget submissions
- Perform project contingency management including Contingency Drawdown
- Conduct financial risk analysis and internal control, drive project audit readiness and strive for high level of compliance
- Drive house in order and continuously improve the management processes
- Manage business assurance activities to ensure no compromise on business ethics
Across Programme/Projects
- Ensure strong link to Finance and other project offices
- Responsible for best practice project controls processes on assigned projects primarily focusing on cost control/engineering areas
- Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensure sharing and implementation of best practice within project controls processes across key ongoing projects
- Collaborate with project team members, project management and affiliate personnel to ensure robust project controls processes are implemented and managed throughout the project life cycle
- Maintain and develop best practice project controls processes and governance and ensure that best practices are shared and standardized across ongoing projects
- Continuously assess the project performance and status to secure valid and reliable information and ad-hoc analysis for management decision making
Qualifications
- Bachelor/Mater Degree in accounting, finance management
- Minimum 8 years of experience in multinational company finance, business analysis, controlling or working in a similar position.
- Have extensive knowledge of finance management. In depth understanding of accounts process.
- Preferably with finance management experience in large investment green field project
- Fluent in written and spoken English
