MEP Lead Wanted for Major New Data Center Build in the Berlin!

We are seeking a highly experienced  MEP Lead to join our team and oversee the construction of a major new data center.  

If you have a passion for managing large-scale complex MEP projects and have a focus on data centers or similar complex asset types this role could be for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the MEP project budget, schedule, and resources.
  • Oversee the design/engineering/installation of MEP systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Coordinate with the Client, General Contractor, subcontractors, project team and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all MEP work is completed safely and on time, to a high standard, and in accordance with relevant codes, standards and regulations, and contracts.
  • Respond directly to any RFIs and Submittals related to MEP, and coordinate them till closure in coordination with the Quality Manager. 
  • Manage the procurement and installation of MEP equipment and materials.
  • Ensure proper testing and commissioning of MEP systems prior to the start of operations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.
  • Represent the company to stakeholders and manage external relationships.
  • Prepare reports for MEP scope as per project pace.
  • Attend meetings as required

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale MEP projects, preferably with a focus on data centers.
  • Strong expertise in relevant MEP codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Fluency in English. German advantageous. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
