Job Description

​​​​​Turner & Townsend is looking for Cost Managers to join our growing Cost Management team in our Adelaide office, working within Turner & Townsend's Real Estate team. 

The right candidate will have the opportunity to progress within our business and receive a competitive salary and benefits package. There will also be the opportunity to support internal business initiatives and development, in order to offer our people an all-round exposure to the business. 

The role will be involved in projects in Adelaide and supporting education projects in Melbourne.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete key cost management reports in a timely manner as dictated by the Project Manager / Senior Cost Manager.
  • Communicate any potential risks or opportunities with the Client on specific projects.
  • Manage Client expectations through excellent communication.
  • Always maintain the highest standards of Governance and Quality Assurance.
  • Contribute to the overall improvement of service offering on the respective projects.
  • Cost Planning
  • Tender Administration and Recommendation
  • Post Contract CA (Variations, Payment Recs, Final Account agreement etc)
  • Client Management and Comms
  • Internal Stakeholder Management and Comms
  • Contribute to improving our service offering

Qualifications

  • Cost Manager with 5+ years’ experience.
  • Strong pre and post contract Cost Management experience.
  • Has managed Clients directly in previous roles.
  • Previous Capital Works, Education, Health, and residential experience preferable.
  • Defence experience is a plus.
  • Previous CostX experience preferable.
  • Outgoing personality, client facing and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Displays a high level of ability to manage expectations and priorities.
  • Shows an ambition to consistently improve.
