Job Description
Turner & Townsend Infrastructure Singapore are looking for an exceptional BIM Consultant to join our growing team. The successful applicant will support the implementation of BIM on behalf of our clients by providing technical model assurance services and assisting with information management as a technical specialist.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of Employer’s Information Requirement documents, defining the client and project requirements
- Design, develop and implement BIM Execution Plans, defining the client and project requirements
- Provide a BIM implementation and management lead or support role for a project or series of projects.
- Assure BIM standards are being followed by project stakeholders
- Create and review model assurance reports and lead clash detection meetings
- Create and Distribute key action reports
- Advise project stakeholders on data exchange methods, and create model exchange schedules
- Liaise directly with project stakeholders
- Oversee administration of project BIM coordination process
- Promote increased collaboration between project stakeholders
- Research and present areas of new technology, process and emerging best practices.
- Support project teams in model and content creation, ensuring correct data and data structure
- Advise project managers / project teams with regard to BIM data / data structure best practices
- Support the development of company BIM standards, and update as necessary
- Manage software versions of BIM applications
- Provide support to the tender bidding teams in order to win future projects
- Provide support to tender bidding teams by responding to BIM specific PQQ’s
- Continuing development of in-house BIM capabilities
- Regular meetings with the BIM Centre for Excellence team to share knowledge, recent experiences, ideas and mitigate risks so as to best serve the wider business and future projects
Core competencies
- Excellent Communicator – ability to provide clear guidance to the whole project team, in order to coordinate a successful outcome (in English)
- Proven systematic approach to problem solving and model development protocols
- Understand and navigate through Building Information Models (visual and detailed interrogation)
- Have an understanding of BIM Competency Assessments of supply chains
- Experience in writing clear, concise requirements and documentation.
- Ability to demonstrate experience & knowledge of BIM authoring tools
Qualifications
- Excellent Communicator – ability to provide clear guidance to the whole project team, in order to coordinate a successful outcome (in English)
- 3-8 years relevant experience project and programme BIM execution planning in Singapore.
- Proven systematic approach to problem solving and model development protocols
- Understand and navigate through Building Information Models (visual and detailed interrogation)
- Have an understanding of BIM Competency Assessments of supply chains
- Experience in writing clear, concise requirements and documentation.
- Ability to demonstrate experience & knowledge of BIM authoring tools
- Be numerate and computer literate, competent in at least one of the following ‘model checking’ and ‘model authoring’ software:
1. Solibri Model Checker
2. Autodesk Navisworks
3. Graphisoft ArchiCAD
4. Bentley AECOsim
5. Nemetschek Vectorworks
6. Autodesk Revit
7. Autodesk Civil3D
8. Bentley Synchro
