Job Description
- Responsible for the development of programmes, baseline management and progress updates.
- Competent in the use of Primavera P6 planning software.
- The creation of programmes using ‘Critical Path Methodology’ and reporting against the programme for planning reports and related project controls disciplines.
- Must have experience of planning for the whole construction process from inception through to completion and to be able to create programmes that are underpinned by a basis of programme narrative
- Working with the wider project team in the presentation of programme information to stakeholders.
- Work with other team members, including change, cost, project controls and other planners to deliver a planning and / or project controls service
- Support the monthly update in line with reporting cycle and set in place reports and processes that suit the client or project team, including the use of key interfaces and earned value calculations
- Review for acceptance Contractors programmes in line with contractual obligations and manage the relationship and on-going submission of the contractors programmes.
- Creation and regular production of Progress Reports.
- Attend progress review meetings as required
- Where necessary undertake or contribute to what-if scenarios to show the effect of potential changes
- Interact with customers, managers, operation leaders, financial controller and EVM analyst if required.
- Manage the interface between the various contracts
Qualifications
- Degree in project/construction management and/or engineer (or other related disciplines) is required
- Experienced in using Primavera(P6)
- Over five years relevant industry experience (or related fields) specifically in managing a programme of capital works.
- Data centre, pharma, life sciences or semi conductor experience would be advantageous.
- Business level communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment and to work pro-actively as part of a committed team
- Experience providing programme/portfolio consultancy services to large multinational companies
- People management skills in the context of managing various stakeholders
- Experience with reporting to the client directly and being accountable for the overall success of the project deliverables.
