We’re seeking a bi-lingual (fluency in English) People & Talent (HR) Co-ordinator to join our cutting-edge and dynamic international People & Talent team. You will report to the International Head of People & Talent based in the UK, and you will assist the People & Talent and wider Leadership team to execute the People & Talent strategy predominantly in Colombia but with the opportunity to support in the wider LATAM region. We are looking for someone happy to work either part-time or full-time (minimum 30 hours per week) and also happy to work from our offices based in Carrera, Bogota. We are looking for someone flexible who can operate virtually and within the physical office environment.

Salary - 2.5m-4m COP per month, full time equivalent.

Job Description

A bit about the team and what you'll deliver...

You will be a part of the People &Talent team who are responsible for the total employee experience. Reporting to our Head of People & Talent, we are looking for a customer-focused People & Talent (HR) Co-ordinator who can easily integrate themselves into the business and team interactions.

As a People & Talent (HR) Co-ordinator, you will deliver: 

  • Support to line managers and the People & Talent Acquisition Partner in the co-ordination of recruitment campaigns, including; reviewing applications, speaking with and initial assessment of candidates, co-ordinating interviews and management of smooth offer and acceptance process.
  • An effective onboarding experience to new employees joining the business including the coordination of HR, business and IT inductions.
  • Effective liaison with our payroll and benefits vendors about the effective management and processing of the monthly payroll and benefits administration.
  • Support line managers with practical advice on best practice approach to management of performance, conduct, grievances and absence.
  • Effective communications about People & Talent initiatives, payroll, benefits and anything else that may be relevant to an employees employment experience.
  • Clear and up-to-date HR policies, reviewing and making recommendations where necessary to effect positive change or behaviours.  Leading effective communication into the business of the same.
  • An efficient and compliant administrative and wider office management service to the business and the employees therein.
  • Support to the wider People & Talent team in defining and delivering HR initiatives that support the delivery of the People & Talent strategy.

What makes you, you...

Language

  • English is the business language; good English - verbal and written communication skills is required

Experience

  • Demonstrable experience working in both virtual and physical offices within an operational/service HR environment and end-to-end employee lifecycle administration
  • Preferred experience within a Technology company but not essential
  • Experience with virtual office tools such as Zoom, MS Teams, Slack etc
  • Experience co-ordinating Colombian payroll and benefits and liaising with external payroll and benefits vendors
  • Minimum 2 years experience advising managers and colleagues in the interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures is desirable
  • Experience with recruitment and selection in LATIN America is desirable

Knowledge:

  • Basic Colombian employment law/regulations
  • Human resources administration; recruitment & selection, performance management, payroll, benefits, onboarding, learning & development and employee relations/labour welfare.
  • Health & safety
  • Physical office management

Technical skills: 

  • Excellent time management skills
  • Multi-tasking and prioritisation
  • Intermediate MS office skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to speak effectively to any audience
  • Exceptional eye for detail

Qualifications

  • Degree in HR/Business administration or similar discipline preferred or equivalent level of skill, experience and knowledge
