Position Summary:
We are looking for a Manager - Design, to develop and lead a team of three designers and two copywriters creating compelling designs across our B2B and B2C journeys. Designs will range from print assets to mobile/web assets to assets for social media that attract users and lead to increased conversion rates. This role requires creative thinking to conceive engaging, energetic, effective content, while deftly and efficiently lead multiple projects and other creatives. Strong digital experience evolving brand strategy, aesthetic sensibility, combined with a can-do demeanor are essential. Your center of perfection should be design and creative development for digital, video, and print.

This position is open to candidates in the Seattle area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Lead creative and visual design for all marketing channels that will differentiate Trupanion from competitors and their products.
- Align B2C and B2B marketing to brand design systems, principles, processes, and guidelines (internal and client, where appropriate).
- Explore new concepts, new tools, and software solutions; be a creative instigator within design. Be an active and supportive collaborator, giving and receiving feedback while elevating our core brand.
- Partner with our executives, marketing, people ops, and brand teams to bring Creative to life while meeting product and business objectives–this can include both internal and external initiatives like events, product launches, training, and company culture.
Experience:
- 8+ years of demonstrated digital and print design experience.
- UI/CX and design principles, interaction design of components a plus.
- Experience with motion graphics, animation/video production process. Working with writers and video content team to develop storyboards and shot lists.
- 3+ years leading design teams
- Experience with video production is a plus
- Experience in the animal health industry is a plus but not required
Compensation:
- The pay range for this position is $95,000 - $105,000 on a full-time schedule.
- Along with base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.
- We want all employees to be invested in Trupanion’s success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members. Our new hire grants vest over 4 years.
