Job Description

Temporary to Permanent Position: Start date would ASAP.

The Office Admin/Processing Specialist is a versatile and proactive individual who is willing to take on a wide range of responsibilities. Initially, this position will provide coverage for two employees who will be on maternity leave through the end of October. During this time, the successful candidate will assume and manage their key responsibilities.

Following the maternity leave coverage period, the role will to be responsible for keying our insurance policies into the systems of our insurance providers. This position requires candidates to pay close attention to detail to ensure all policies are keyed correctly and efficiently. Candidates must have strong computer skills and be able to work quickly and accurately.

Office Admin Responsibilities Include:

  • Calendar Scheduling for the Platform Leader

  • Marketing/Agent Support:

    • Maintain inventory and execute orders for our internal company store.

  • Employee & Office Engagement & Upkeep:

    • Maintain office supply inventory and restock as needed.

    • Restock office snacks and ensure Tuesday Team lunches are smoothly executed.

    • Ensure common areas are kept clean and organized.

    • Daily pick-up and drop-off office mail.

    • Boost office morale and help celebrate employee birthdays and special occasions.

Processing Specialist Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with the underwriter coordinator and account managers to ensure any issues with a policy are resolved in a quick & efficient manner 
  • Successful candidates must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
  • Monitors own projects to ensure quality is met
  • Must be able to work independently, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently

Qualifications

Requirements Include:

  • High school or equivalent
  • Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent proofreading skills 
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to type 50+ wpm
  • Must be able to work well under pressure
