Job Description

In collaboration with the Director, Revenue Management Planning, the Manager, Group Revenue Management ensures the performance of revenues related to the group segment by leading a team of analysts and deploying revenue management strategies aligned with the organization’s overall objectives.
The incumbent acts as a strategic reference for group revenue management, working closely with Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, and IT teams to maximize unit revenues while respecting commercial and operational guidelines.

Responsabilites:

Team leadership

  • Lead, mobilize and develop a team of group revenue management analysts, with the support of the Director, Revenue Management Planning.
  • Translate and deploy the Revenue Management strategy defined by senior leadership.
  • Ensure the achievement, and where possible the exceedance, of unit revenue objectives (RASM).
  • Assess team performance and provide coaching and mentoring.
  • Plan and lead performance review meetings and action‑prioritization sessions.

Group revenue strategy and optimization

  • Define and implement group inventory management strategies by season.
  • Review predictive analyses aimed at optimizing group revenues.
  • Identify optimization opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor performance variances and intervene proactively.
  • Prepare, analyze and present results and recommendations to management.

Cross‑functional coordination and commercial alignment

  • Work closely with commercial teams to ensure alignment with group RM strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with and updates to group sales conditions.
  • Maintain continuous market intelligence.
  • Identify opportunities to improve group quotation, booking and file‑management processes.

Tools, systems and continuous improvement

  • Ensure the reliability and optimization of group revenue management systems (GPS), in collaboration with IT.
  • Validate and calibrate system parameters to ensure strategy consistency.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, methodologies and decision‑support tools.
  • Propose innovative approaches in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and key resource on group revenue issues.

Qualifications

Education and experience

  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role in revenue management or strategic analysis.

Technical skills

  • Knowledge of airline revenue management systems (e.g., PROS – an asset).
  • Excellent command of business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Ability to integrate and promote the use of AI tools (e.g., Copilot).

*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders in Quebec and internationally.
