Job Description
This is a key position within the Revenue Management Department, responsible for maximizing revenues on Air Transat's operated flights, this role involves the development, implementation, and monitoring of workflows and best practices.
Responsibilities:
Change Agent
- Promote the adoption of new systems, concepts and practices within revenue management.
- Monitor market performance and challenges encountered.
- Encourage collaboration and introduce workflow changes to address new challenges.
Processes and RMP Tools
- Develop and maintain tools to support best practices
- Support the RM team in effectively using these tools.
Revenue Management Ambassador
- Proactively communicate revenue management principles to internal teams.
Liaison Between Teams
- Collaborate with leaders and teams to maximize synergies and support changes.
Budget Management
- Develop and maintain models for defining and improving the budget.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to integrate the budget into Revenue Management Planning strategies.
Training and Documentation
- Ensure proper training for new team members and maintain team knowledge.
- Document and update processes as needed.
Qualifications
- University degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, operations research, education, or equivalent.
- 5 years of professional experience in a similar position.
- Technological expertise, including the use of large databases and revenue management tools (PROS or equivalent).
- Experience in workplace training, change management, and implementation planning.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at various levels of expertise, influence, and persuade others to act.
- Ability to build collaborative working relationships and be seen as credible.
- Autonomy, stress management, meeting tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Planner, etc.).
