Job Description
Steer and nurture the growth of Western Victoria's recycling network and make a lasting impact on how communities recycle every day.
As our Territory Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the performance, growth, and customer experience of TOMRA's Victorian container return network. Working closely with sales, technical, and operational teams, you'll oversee a portfolio of Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs), ensuring they operate safely, present well to the public, maintain profitability, and continue to be accessible to the community.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll connect with and build strong relationships with contractors, site hosts, landlords, and key stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and improvement by using data and commercial insights to drive results. From improving site performance and increasing container return volumes, to driving safety initiatives and managing operational budgets, you'll play a key role in shaping the success of TOMRA's recycling network across Western Victoria.

Some duties you will perform (Not limited to)
- Drive the performance, profitability, and growth of TOMRA's container return network across Victoria.
- Coordinate and support contractors, technical teams, and stakeholders to deliver excellent operational outcomes.
- Monitor and improve site performance, uptime of machines, and container return volumes across your territory.
- Build strong relationships with contractors, site hosts, landlords, redemption partners, and local stakeholders.
- Identify growth opportunities and implement initiatives to enhance customer experience and network performance.
- Manage operational budgets, control costs, and drive commercial performance in line with business targets.
- Oversee contractor performance, conduct site audits, and ensure service levels are consistently achieved.
- Champion safety and compliance by promoting best-practice WHS standards across all sites.
- Analyse operational data and develop strategies to improve efficiency, uptime, and profitability.
- Act as the local go to person for your territory, driving continuous improvement and supporting TOMRA's mission to create a more sustainable future.

In this role, you'll partner with a diverse range of stakeholders, use insights to guide decision-making, and drive initiatives that improve customer experiences, operational performance, and sustainability outcomes. You'll thrive if you're someone who values collaboration, communication, and making a meaningful impact.
We are also looking for people with the below skills/ experience:
- Passionate about safety and sustainability
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management, Leadership & Management, or equivalent qualification/ experience.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Solid operational experience with proven ability to drive performance and prioritise safety.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Financial awareness and experience with managing budgets, controlling costs, and developing strategic initiatives.
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with contractors, customers, and business partners.
- Proven experience managing contractors, service providers, or multi-site operations.
- Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
- Demonstrated people leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Previous experience with Salesforce or other relevant systems.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage competing priorities.
- Strong organisation, time management, and reporting skills.
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service outcomes.
- Commitment to workplace safety and a strong understanding of WHS compliance requirements.
