We’re Hiring: Business Development & Research Intern (Green Agenda / EU Funds)
Belgrade | Paid Internship (6 months)
Are you interested in how EU-funded projects shape sustainability and infrastructure?
Join us to gain hands-on experience working on EU and international funding opportunities supporting the green transition across Southeast Europe.
We are looking for a Business Development & Research Intern to support the development of EU and international funding opportunities in the field of green transition, circular economy, and environmental infrastructure.
What you’ll work on
As part of our team, you will contribute directly to building a pipeline of impactful projects:
- Identify EU and international funding opportunities in areas such as recycling, waste management, and environmental infrastructure
- Research and map potential partners including municipalities, public utilities, NGOs, and companies across the region
- Analyze funding requirements, budgets, and eligibility criteria
- Support the development of concept notes and draft grant proposals
- Contribute to building a portfolio of priority projects in Serbia and neighboring markets
You will work on active projects and contribute to the development of structured funding opportunities.
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone motivated, analytical, and eager to learn:
- Final-year student, recent graduate, or early-career professional (Economics, Business, International Relations, Environmental Studies, or similar)
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to structure and summarize complex information
- Interest in sustainability, green transition, and international/EU funding
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently with mentorship support
- Good written and spoken English, with confidence to use it in day-to-day communication and documentation
No prior experience required, but any exposure to research, projects, or sustainability topics is an advantage.
